Noemi Sesmas was born in 1994 in Southern California and is first generation born from Mexican parents . In 2020, they graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelors in Fine Arts in Photography degree. They are a fine artist as well as a commercial artist. Their fine art consists of capturing the brown, queer, and first generation experience. Their commercial work focuses on capturing individuals in their most authentic state. They have exhibited their work in the SJSU Herbert Sanders gallery, SJSU Gallery 5, and the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Library in San Jose CA. They are passionate about capturing narratives that are not normally shown in the mainstream art scene.
